Matthew Liao: Matthew Liao is a proud resident of William Mason High School. As a diligent senior, he discovers and delves into his academic passions by taking AP Literature & Composition and other challenging courses. He co-leads Mason’s prestigious Science Olympiad team and volunteers for the Mason Public Library to teach children and teens of all ages the virtues of learning. A member of the school’s National Honor Society, Matthew devotes his time to helping out at his community’s nursing homes and elementary schools. In his free time, he is a tennis athlete, ragtime piano piece producer, and professional hip hop lyric analyzer.
